Candice Segarra is a NYC based multi-hyphenate creator. Segarra is an Actor, Dancer, Choreographer, Movement Director and Writer. She obtained a BA in Dance & Theatre from Manhattanville College (Purchase, NY) in 2014, with a concentration in Modern Dance Choreography and a minor in Communications. She currently acts and performs with Off-Broadway’s hip hop vaudeville comedy show: Rebirth of Rabbit’s Foot and dances professionally with Cabaret & Burlesque troupe, Lyoness NYC. Candice has performed at Jacob’s Pillow Dance Festival, Jazz at Lincoln Center, The People's Improv Theater, Disney World, New York City Center, for Atlantic Records, Good Morning America, and more. She has also trained and performed in Italy and freelance performs with various entertainment, dance, theatre companies and choreographers. Segarra is well versed in the performing arts, having studied acting and theatre for live stages and TV/film for 12 years and studied a wide variety of dance styles for 20+ years such as: Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Commercial Hip Hop, various urban street styles (Vogue, Street Jazz, Jazz Funk) Latin dance styles (Salsa, Cha Cha, Mambo) and modern dance, contemporary and musical theater. She has performed and written spoken word poetry and sketch comedy and worked as a Choreographer and Director of her own dance theatre company, Segarra Dance Theatre Projects (2015-2018). She currently works as a Production Assistant and Covid Compliance Officer for current commercials and TV/film.
