Gabriella Maria Loo was born and raised in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. She began dancing at Lavonne Leer School of Dance, studying ballet and jazz. She furthered her dance studies at the University Center for Performing Arts in Miami, and by earning her degree in dance with a concentration in Modern Dance, from Broward College. After graduating, she began her professional career dancing in music videos for local artists and was part of the Strikers Cheerleaders Dance Team. She danced in various shows and events in South Florida including for choreographer Aakomon Jones, and was part of Forte Entertainment Productions for three years. Upon moving to New York, she studied at Martha Graham School for Contemporary Dance, and has danced for companies all around New York City, including Ojas Dance Project, TK Dance Lab, East Coast
