Kaori Nakata was born and raised in Japan and moved to NY to pursue further in entertainment. While she was still in school she had opportunities to perform in front of thousands at Hammerstein Ball Room New Year’s Eve Concert and Reggae Cali Fest. Since then her passion for dance has never stopped doing what she loves to do. She trained in the prestigious Broadway Dance Center for various style of dance. Surrounded in various cultures in NYC she has studied not only commercial dance but also various cultural dances such as Afro Caribbean Dance, Soca, Dancehall, West African, Afrobeat, Bollywood, Latin, Reggaeton and Belly Dancing. She has worked with many artists such as Neyo, John Legend, Halsey, Shaggy, Rayvon, Ayo Jay, A Tribe Called Quest, Lil Mama, Lil Jon, 2 Chainz, Talib Kweli, Steve Aoki just to name a few. Her performance credit includes Azealia Banks presents Marmaid Ball, Party FM Summer Jam Concert, Macy’s Go Red For Women, Touring with Pop Singer J Line, Glam Awards, Foxwood Casino Thanksgiving Concert, Tropicana Casino, Borgata Casino, Turning Stone Casino, Golden Nuggets Casino, World of Dance, Carnival Choreographers Ball and Sybarite Production Showcase. As member of SAG-AFTRA she has appeared in many commercials and TV/Film productions. You can currently spot her in World Resort Casino billboard in NYC. Kaori is currently performing in NYC and tristate and she would love to expand her passion to west coast and to international.
